16 Days of Activism Campaign against Gender-Based Violencegiant
The Embassy and ACCESS program staff came together in support of the 16 Days of Activism Campaign against gender-based violence to raise awareness, challenge discriminatory attitudes and call for an end to violence against women in Cambodia and across the globe.
The campaign reminds us that together we can combat and eliminate violence against women, ensuring that all women and girls live a life that is free from all forms of violence and can achieve their full potential.
Keep an eye out for the supported tuk-tuks, or reumork kangbai, driving around Phnom Penh, Kampong Cham and Ratanakiri provinces with orange banners displaying information on how to access gender-based violence services. We call on everyone to commit to taking action individually and collectively to end violence against women and girls, including those with disabilities.
Please join us now to #OrangeTheWorld and end violence against all women.
