Disability Workstream Quarterly Meetingaccess
The ACCESS Program organizes quarterly meetings of the Disability Workstream, chaired by the Disability Action Council (DAC) Secretariat. The most recent meeting was held on 5 February 2021 and included participation from the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation, DAC, Ministry of Economy and Finance, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Women Affairs, Agile Development Group, Cambodian Disabled People’s Organisation, Chamroeun Microfinance Plc., Humanity & Inclusion, Light for The World, UNDP, and ADD International.
The objectives of the meeting were to discuss the progress made during the previous quarter (October-December 2020), including sharing lessons learnt, and to determine priorities and initiatives of Implementing Partners and government counterparts working in the disability sector for the next quarter.
Ms. Elizabeth Adler, Second Secretary of the Australian Embassy in Cambodia proudly stated in the meeting: “We are satisfied to see what we have achieved so far and the increased partnership and collaboration spirit across partners. This is the result of the contributions from all of us here today.”
His Excellency Neth Un, Deputy Secretary-General of DAC appreciated the support and partnership of the Australian Government provided through the ACCESS Program and thanked the Program’s Implementing Partners for their cooperation in ensuring the success achieved thus far.
