ACCESS Steering Committee Field Visit to Kampong Speu Province

Sector: Australia-Cambodia Cooperation for Equitable Sustainable Services (ACCESS) program

Purpose of event:

  1. To observe ACCESS activities and meet with subnational partners and operators to understand the progress, challenges and lessons learned of the program.
  2. To discuss and provide feedback and recommendations for the remaining period for implementation of the ACCESS Program.

Desired Outcomes

The ACCESS Steering Committee (ASC) will:

  1. Gain further awareness of the progress and challenges of the ACCESS Year 4 workplan initiatives, with an in depth-focus within the Kampong Speu province.
  2. Establish dialogue among ASC members, subnational RGC partners, beneficiaries and various implementing partners on the progress of the ACCESS Program
  3. Provide recommendations and draw lessons learned to inform the ongoing implementation of the ACCESS Program.

  • The Ministry of Women’s Affairs (MoWA)
  • The Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation (MoSVY) and Disability Action Council Secretariat General (DAC-SG)
  • The Ministry of Economic and Finance
  • Independent member and;
  • ACCESS team leader
