Embassy visits CWCC’s Shelters as a part of 16 Day Campaign Violence Against Women and Girls - 6 December 2021
Ambassador Kang and his family, as well as Deputy Ambassador Andreas Zurbrugg, recently visited Cambodian Women Crisis Centres (CWCC) in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, respectively. At both centres, Ambassador Kang and Deputy Ambassador Zurbrugg handed over a variety of educational materials, including 813 textbooks, 98 story books, stationery, 3 computers, 3 smart TVs, and 6 sets of tables and chairs. First ACCESS Steering Committee meeting took place on the 7 March at the Cambodiana hotel. The ACCESS consultation workshop on Disability workstream priorities took place on 25 February at the Himawari Hotel. Members of the Disability Secretariat General of DAC from 29 Ministries including the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Post and Telecommunication, and representatives from relevant development partners, Disabled People Organizations, NGOs and the private sector participated in this workshop.
