Inclusive disability services in CambodiaSovithiea
Last week Embassy staff visited a Physical Rehabilitation Centre (PRC) in Phnom Penh to handover COVID-19 protective material to the Centre and meet with some of their clients.
Thanks to Australia’s support for the centre, one beneficiary said he was able to return to work after receiving treatment at the PRC.
Through the Australia-Cambodia Cooperation for Equitable Sustainable Services (ACCESS) program, we are working closely with the Cambodian Government to improve the quality and inclusiveness of services for persons with disabilities.
Australia will continue to help ensure that basic services remain available for vulnerable groups during the pandemic.
