We’re helping persons with disabilities be more independent through better employment opportunities.

Recently, the Embassy co-organised a forum to gather public and private institutes to promote inclusive economic opportunities for persons with disabilities in Kampong Speu. There’s a high number of private companies and factories in Kampong Speu which have a great potential for employment opportunity—especially for persons with disabilities.

Our collective work has facilitated access to economic opportunities, including job placement, livelihood activities, access to financial services, skills training, and financial literacy.

Australia supports economic empowerment for persons with disabilities through the Australia-Cambodia Cooperation for Equitable Sustainable Services (ACCESS) program.
