Women working towards inclusive communication in Cambodia

Ms Korn Maly is a Cambodian Sign Language (CSL) translator at the Deaf Development Program (DDP). Since graduating high school, Maly has devoted her entire career to helping people with hearing impairments by empowering them with meaningful communication methods.

She said: “I love my chosen career path as I empower people with hearing impairments with opportunities to communicate effectively. Seeing their satisfied smile is something that continues to motivate me.” Maly is an outstanding Sign Language Interpreter, using sign language, not only at DDP, but also across national events as well.

We would like to thank and congratulate Maly for her countless contributions to the full participation of persons with hearing impairments in the Cambodian community.
